The dry-side layer for your Nemuri Pillow.
A great pillow vents the heat. This is the part that handles the sweat.
The Nemuri Ice Cover slips over your pillow and gives you a surface that does one job well: it pulls moisture off your skin so you're not lying face-down in a damp patch at 3 AM.
It's woven with a raised-dot "ice" texture, thousands of tiny raised points that lift the fabric slightly off your cheek and neck. That does two things: it keeps air moving across your skin instead of sealing it in, and it gives the cool, smooth, dry feel that standard cotton can't replicate.
The honest version: A cover can't cool your whole body, and it won't stop a hot flash, nothing you lay your head on will. What it does do is wick moisture and breathe, so the surface against your face stays drier and cooler to the touch than an ordinary cotton case that just soaks up sweat and holds it there.
What it does:
- Wicks moisture: away from your hair, face, and neck
- Raised-dot weave: keeps air moving and feels cool and smooth to the touch
- Breathable: won't trap heat against your skin like standard cotton or microfiber
- Machine washable: holds its texture and cooling feel wash after wash
- Fits standard and queen pillows: (approx. 48 × 74 cm)
Pairs with: Designed to slip right over the Nemuri Buckwheat Pillow. The Nemuri pillow vents the heat from below, the cover wicks the sweat from above. Two layers, one dry night.

From women who finally slept.
“Life changing”
I've had the best nights of sleep in years after buying this.
“Too firm”
No more sweating, but it's just way too firm for me.
“Stays cool”
A bit heavy but doesn't turn into an oven.
“Good for hot flashes”
Keeps me dry, just wish it was a little softer.
“Worked well”
Keeps my head totally cool all night.
“It's okay”
Keeps my head cool but it feels like sleeping on a beanbag.
“Lifesaver.”
"f you're dealing with menopause hot flashes, this is great. I used to wake up with basically soaking wet hair because my sweat would just pool on my old foam pillow (so gross)😂. With this buckwheat one, it stays dry. I'm finally not waking up in a wet spot anymore and can actually get back to sleep. Absolute lifesaver.
“A bit noisy”
Stops the night sweats but it's a little crunchy when you move.
“Made a mess”
Unzipped it to adjust the height and the little shells spilled everywhere.
“Ruined my pillowcase”
"The shells inside bled through and stained my expensive white pillowcases grey.
“Ruined in the wash”
Kept me cool but had a weird earthy smell so I threw it in the washing machine and it ruined it.
“Weird filling”
There is no cotton or fluff inside this pillow at all. Just a zipper bag full of hard little hulls. Disappointing.
“Too hard and did not stop my night sweats.”
Got this because I heard it helps with hot flashes. Well, I still woke up sweating durng the night. Only difference is now my head is resting on a bag of hard little shells instead of a soft pillow. It kept my neck cool I guess, but it didn't stop the sweating at all. Total waste.
“Actually stays cool!”
Absolutely love this pillow!! I was so sick of waking up with my head feeling like it was on a heating pad. The pillow stays completely cool. It makes a tiny bit of noise when you shift around but it’s so worth it to get a solid night of sleep.
“Awsome Pillow.”
When this arrived I literally thought they sent me a box of bricks, it’s so heavy. Took a few nights to get used to because it’s not soft at all. But my hot flashes have been brutal lately and this is the best thing to actually keeps my head cool. No more waking up soaking wet with a flat, hot pillow. It is a pain to move around though.
